In 1949 Heinz Arnheim crafted a handbag for his wife Gabrielle. Gabee, as he endearingly called her, was so enchanted by the design that Heinz decided to manufacture “bags of difference” and established Gabee named after her. Their son Frank has managed the business since 1969, joined by his wife Deany and later two children Mark and Monique.

Three generations later and sixty two years on, the family keeps Heinz’s passion alive, upholding his philosophies and traditions to create “bags of difference”.

Heinz' grand daughter Monique has recently launched her own brand MONIQUE, offering gorgeous styles in luxurious premium leathers.
